Inspired by a similar antique quilt I worked on for a client, I pulled out my antique fabric scraps, found a perfectly antique yellow fabric made by American Made Brand, and set to cutting and sorting strips of various lengths. After making a diamond pattern, I constructed these touching string stars. The backing is a piece of lightly used antique fabric found at a thrift store.

This quilt is sized somewhere between twin and full. Pictured on a full size bed. If you like a generous quilt, use it on a twin bed.

Care: machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Color catchers recommended. Hang to dry for maximum life or machine dry on low for that perfect crinkled quilt look. Quilt comes pre-washed in free-and-clear laundry detergent.
