This beautiful twin size applique quilt features antique hand applique and modern machine quilting. The quilt top was sourced second hand and the date it was pieced is unknown but the fabrics and thread used are clearly old. I have finished it by machine quilting around the applique and adding coordinating backing and binding.

Zoë Dawn Shop quilts are made using 75% rescued and upcycled fabrics. This machine quilted quilt is lined with wool batting. Cotton fabrics.

Care: machine wash cold with like colors on a gentle cycle. Color catchers recommended. Hang to dry for maximum life or machine dry on low for that perfect crinkled quilt look. Quilt comes pre-washed in free-and-clear laundry detergent. Due to it’s antique nature, there is some age spotting on the quilt top. See an example in the fifth picture.
